The sophomore album from Bristol's Caves is out now
Well, the CDs came back from press exactly as we'd hoped and the pre-orders have been posted so I guess Betterment is officially "out".
We'll be in touch with our favourite record shops this week in order to twist their arms about stocking copies (we don't anticipate much twisting to be required if we're honest) so look out for updates on our Facebook or Twitter pages as and when.
In the meantime you can obviously order the CD direct from ourselves or head to our Bandcamp page for a digital download version. Hopefully we'll get some LP copies into our distro soon along with some older Caves releases.
If you'd rather buy direct from the band their extensive tour schedule for later in the year is now on the gigs page.
Here's what some other people are now saying about Betterment:
"... they had me hooked from the moment the riff starts ringing on the opener and singer Louise Hanman yells the opening line of "I don't care, I don't care, go fuck yourself". The familiar urgency is there from that moment and it rides on the crest of a wave throughout bursting with energy." - Collective Zine
"An essential UK punk rock listen, and one you’d be silly to miss out on." - Punktastic
"With the whole album lasting 26 minutes start to finish, it has a youthful energy and vibrancy you would expect from a band on Leeds melodic hardcore label Bombed Out. With no song over 3 minutes this is breezy, upbeat pop-punk with no room for indulgence or pointless guitar noodling." - Louder Than War
