New Year/New Thanks

So another New Year/New Start has flown by without a hitch (running times? we laugh in the face of running times!). A stressful few months of preparation over the festive period culminating in a mere 10 hours of music.... But what a fantastic 10 hours of audible awesomeness they were!
Thank you so much to everyone who came down (I know there were a few of you as once again The Well ran out of beer all too quickly!) and obviously special thanks to all the bands that played.
To The Dauntless Elite for bringing the evening to a magnificent close; Above Them for "the rock" and also for bringing down their back-line for the day; Caves for making the trip all the way up to Leeds 2 years in a row; Bedford Falls for simply being bloody ace; The Amistad and Homebrew for doing us proud and playing as well as I've ever seen them; Saturday's Kids for taking the tea-time death-slot and still playing their heats out regardless; Coal Train for coming down and playing early despite having evening plans; Matadors and The Dead Reckoning for adding a touch of rock and roll to proceedings, with the latter filling in at short notice; Slow Science for basically being SOOOOO BLOODY GOOD IT HURTS; Matthew "Brown Hound James" Broadbent for playing the Dugong and Nathaniel Green hits and The Facts for kicking the whole day off in style.
Phew... And to Zapiain and Peachfuzz who sadly couldn't make it: thanks for just being you.
Finally thanks to Kev and Tom at The Well for doing what they do and to Jonathan Greenwood for his photo of Caves that you can see above. Good lads all of 'em.
Will there be a NYNS 2013? Hmm... At this point in time who knows... But we won't let our 15th Anniversary pass us by without doing something. Watch this space I guess...
