The Leif Ericsson were formed in september 2001. They released their debut 7”, a split with metallers Beecher, on In At The Deep End Records in 2002.
In February 2003 Crackle Records and Hermit Records jointly released the Milloy / The Leif Ericsson split CD/10” containing 4 songs from each band.
Since then, members have changed, gigs have been played, tears have been shed and songs have been written. It's all good.
The band’s debut album will hopefully see the light of day late 2005 / early 2006 on Bombed Out. Before then the band have a split 7” on the way and a small tour of Japan.
