When Dropnose split in 2000, following the release of their self-titled third EP, it didn't take long for Iz and Heysi to rope ex-Astream guitarist Bobby into the fold. The Mercy Suite was born and Credis Quod Habes et Habes was unleashed in 2002.

Guitarist Bobby then left for colder climes but by recruiting Voorhees/The Horror/The Sex Maniacs "drum-vet" Dave Allen, Iz had the freedom to put down his sticks and pick up his plectrum. Crestfallen was released in 2006.

The Mercy Suite split late 2006 at the top of their game.
